Here is a quick summary of what is new about The Official ACT Prep Guide 2023-24 that was released in summer of 2023.

  • Test 1(23MC1) is the only new test in the 2023-2024 guide when compared to last year’s Official ACT Prep Guide 2022-23. This test is identical to the official 2021 December ACT test(Form code E23)

  • There are eight tests in total, six in the printed guide, and two other available via online access. Tests 7 and 8 can only be accessed via ACT’s online website.

  • Here are the details on the eight tests and the corresponding form codes from official ACT tests.

    • Test 1 (23MC1): Identical to 2021 December ACT test(E23).
    • Test 2 (18MC4): Identical to 2017 June ACT test(74C).
    • Test 3 (19MC5): Identical to 2017 December ACT test(A10).
    • Test 4 (20MC6): Identical to 2018 June ACT test(A11).
    • Test 5 (20MC8): Identical to 2020 July ACT test(C01).
    • Test 6 (22MC9): Identical to 2019 December ACT test(C03).
    • Test 7 (16MC1): Mix of 2015 June ACT test(73C) and Real ACT Prep Guide 3rd edition.
    • Test 8 (16MC2): Mix of 2015 April ACT test(73G) and Real ACT Prep Guide 3rd edition.
